Office 365 (public beta)

Successor to Microsoft’s Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS), entered public beta, Office 365 is cloud based software which includes Exchange Server, SharePoint Server, and Lync Server,(CRM 2011 soon with native integration). Together with public beta of the product Microsoft published Office 365 Developer Training Kit. New addition for beta is Office 365 Market place (app store) well I’m still waiting for my beta account but looks very interesting from developers point of view.

MIX 2011 is due to end and there’s a lot of news coming but I’m particularly excited about announcements from Windows Azure Team. I love the fact that Windows Azure Introductory Special offer has been extended till September 30 2011, other news are very good as well , IIS streaming , Azure AppFabric Caching service (next 30days) and CTP of Windows Azure Traffic Manager( will allow balance application performance across geographical areas ). Attending the conference as a presenter was an interesting experience, so I’d like to say thank you to organisers for inviting me, AlfaPeople for support and of course all attendees. I think it was a great event and great success, 300+ partners, networking, really good presentations/sessions, lovely hotel and beautiful place (Prague is amazing).
